Camel Milk History
Camel Milk then
Although camel milk was always available, many people are still surprised by this "new discovery".
Camel Milk consumption has its origins in the desert regions of our planet where camels have always been available in large numbers. These regions include North Africa, Jordan, Egypt and Israel. Thousands of years ago Camel Milk was already consumed, processed and sold there.
For the Nomads and Bedouins living there, camels were the perfect farm animals. Since the animals did not depend on a permanent supply of water, the migrating peoples could travel long distances and always have food available. Because Camel Milk is so nutritious and provides much of the daily necessary nutrients, these animals were the talk of the town back then.
Camel Milk nowadays
Now, a whole eternity later, the Camel Milk boom has finally reached the rest of the world. The USA and Australia can hardly keep up with the production, so popular is the product at the moment. By far the most famous product is Organic Camel Milk. This is followed by Kefir made from Camel Milk and Camel Milk Soap.
Due to its high content of vitamins, nutrients and unsaturated fatty acids, this product can rightly be called a miracle cure.
