What does the Camel Milk Price consist of?
Camels only produce two to three litres of milk per animal per day. This means that one camel only produces enough milk to fill 10 bottles. In comparison: a cow produces about 50 litres of milk per day.
Furthermore, camels can only be milked for one year. The baby camel stays with the mother for the first 40 days and this milk is only used for the newborn.
Our farms are subject to very strict controls and all animals are regularly examined by veterinarians. In order to do this, each one of our employees must complete a training course.
